PINCONNING, Mich. – A Flint man said his entire body went numb when he realized he had won $1 million with a lottery ticket.

Jackie McCloud, 55, of Flint, bought a Powerball ticket at the Forward Pinconning Marathon at 511 South Mable Street in Pinconning.

He matched the five white balls from the May 8 drawing: 07-41-43-44-51.

“I scanned my Powerball ticket at a store to check it and got a message to see the retailer,” McCloud said. “I thought something was wrong with the scanner, so I took it to a different retailer. The worker looked the ticket over and told me I’d won big, but I still didn’t know how much.

“I took my ticket to the Michigan Lottery office, and that’s when I found out it was worth $1 million. My whole body went numb.”

McCloud visited Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim his prize. He said he plans to travel and then save the rest of his winnings.
