Police seek 13-year-old boy missing from Detroit’s east side

Family says he suffers from depression

DETROIT – Police are looking for a 13-year-old boy missing from Detroit’s east side.

According to authorities, JaCorey Beckem was last seen Thursday, May 30, on Wilshire Drive, just south of the intersection of Coplin Avenue and East Outer Drive. Police said he left home without permission and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

His family is concerned because he reportedly suffers from depression.
