School bus crash in Huron Township leaves 2 students, driver with non-life-threatening injuries

HURON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Officials say two students and the driver of a vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a car crashed into a school bus in Huron Township.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (June 4) on Waltz Road near Felt Road.

Officials say the two students and the driver of the car are being transported to a Metro Detroit hospital.

The Huron School District is notifying the parents of students on the bus. The remaining students will be transported to their normal drop-off spots shortly.

Waltz Road is shut down between Felt and South Huron. Please avoid the area.

The crash has closed Waltz Road between Felt Road and South Huron.
