Warren father found guilty of severely injuring his 5-week-old daughter

Matthew Siladke, 26, from Warren, has been found guilty of child abuse in the first degree (Life felony) for severely injuring his 5-week-old daughter.

Officials say the incident occurred on multiple dates in July 2021 when he injured he injured his baby girl, causing numerous injuries, including a biparietal skull fracture, 20 rig fractures, a displaced femur fracture, neck injuries, and brain injuries.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 23 at 9 a.m.

“We stand firm against the abuse of children, ensuring that those who inflict harm upon the innocent face the consequences of their actions,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
