Krizia Allen is accused of stealing funds from 2018-2023

WYANDOTTE, Mich. – A former Wyandotte elementary school principal pleads guilty to embezzlement.

Krizia Allen pleaded guilty to one count of theft from a federally funded program while she was principal at Garfield Elementary School.

Allen’s actions have directly impacted the school’s ability to fulfill its educational mission.

The $90,000 she stole was intended to support the school’s programs and initiatives.

Prosecutors say Allen used the money for personal vacations, meals, gift cards, and rent.

Her sentencing is scheduled for October 10.
