Woman stabs someone during argument at Oakland County graduation ceremony

Both people treated for minor injuries

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A woman stabbed somebody during a graduation ceremony on Tuesday in Oakland County, police said.

Southfield police were called around 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, to the 15600 block of J.L. Hudson Drive.

Officials said a woman got into an argument with someone else during a grad ceremony, and she assaulted that person “with an object.”

Both people were treated for minor injuries, police said.

The woman was arrested without further incident and taken to the Southfield Detention Center.

The investigation continues.
