A key milestone was completed in constructing the Gordie Howe International Bridge.
Pictures from the bridge’s Instagram page were released on Friday (June 14) as crews installed the final two edge gliders connecting the bridge deck.
Construction of the bridge began in fall 2018, and construction on the bridge deck began in Dec. 2022.
Per our project timeline, the Gordie Howe International Bridge is on track to be completed in Sept. 2025.
