OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The Village of Beverly Hills has declared a State of Emergency due to the recent storms over the past two days.

The State of Emergency was announced on Thursday (June 20).

Officials advise residents not to park their vehicles on Village streets until further notice.

Several crews are removing branches and working on power lines in the streets and rights of way.

Removing vehicles from the streets helps the crews safely access the lines and trees.

Storms hit Beverly Hills hard on Wednesday (June 19), where trees had fallen onto homes and or came crashing into neighborhood streets.

Thursday saw another round of severe thunderstorms and quarter-sized hail, leaving crews working to repair downed power lines and flooded streets.
