Many people have been praying for Minister Malik Shabazz, who has been recovering after he suffered a massive heart attack.
Shabazz is expected to head home after the health scare that had him hospitalized since the summer of 2023.
But on Friday (June 21), the Detroit community leader gave Local 4 a look into his recovery and the progress he’s made since his health scare.
Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan said he was looking toward the future with the well-known community activist as the two leaders talked during their one-on-one sitdown.
“He’s just been a force for good in this city,” said Duggan.
