Detroit police search for person of interest in deadly stabbing

DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for a person of interest in their investigation into a deadly stabbing.

The attack happened around 12:10 a.m. May 19, 2024, in the 7400 block of Dix Street on the city’s west side.

Officials said a 31-year-old man was stabbed outside a building in the area by an unknown attacker.

Medical officials took the man to a nearby hospital, but he died from his injuries.

Detectives want to speak to the person in the picture above, who has been named a person of interest. Police said he was in the area at the time of the stabbing.
