Detroit-Windsor Tunnel to close for 3 hours on June 23 for training exercise

Closure affects both directions

DETROIT – The Detroit-Windsor Tunnel will be closed for a few hours on Sunday for a training exercise.

The tunnel will be closed in both directions from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 23. The Ambassador Bridge will remain open.

Travelers heading into the United States can check border wait times at bwt.cbp.gov.
