DETROIT – Two people were arrested after a stolen Jeep fled police in Detroit and the occupants tried to run away on foot in a neighborhood.
A Michigan State Police helicopter followed a stolen Jeep as it traveled on Detroit’s east side, troopers said Friday, June 21, 2024.
The driver fled from a traffic stop, and then he and his passenger both got out after parking in a neighborhood.
They were taken into custody shortly after ditching the Jeep, officials said.
