Video: Semi truck fishtails, trailer strikes pickup in construction zone outside Lansing

DELHI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police cited a semi truck driver after a collision Monday, June 24.

The crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. in a construction zone on southbound US-127 in Delhi Township. According to authorities, road crews were working when the driver of a semi truck pulling two gravel haulers went off the freeway, over-corrected and lost control of the rig. The second trailer fishtailed and struck a pickup truck with two road workers inside.

The passenger of the pickup suffered minor injuries.

Police said the driver of the semi truck was cited for careless driving in a construction zone.
