HILLSDALE COUNTY, Mich. – A Hillsdale County deputy has been shot and transported to a hospital.
The suspect still at large is Eric Michael Fiddler.

Officials say Fiddler is a 5′10″ 190-pound Caucasian man with brown hair and hazel eyes who was wearing dark clothing.
Fiddler is considered armed and dangerous, so do not approach him. Call 911 if you see him.
The shooting occurred on Thursday (June 27) afternoon in the area of Beecher and Lamb roads.
Michigan State Police say the suspect is still at large. Several law enforcement agencies are present, including K9, Aviation, and ES Team.
Officials warn residents and drivers to avoid the area as it is an active crime scene.
