ROMULUS, Mich. – Several fattail scorpions were intercepted during mail inspections at Detroit Metro Airport.

Marty Raybon, the director of field operations for United States Customs and Border Protection in Detroit, said agricultural specialists discovered the scorpions during mail inspections in June.

The discovery was made at Detroit Metro Airport.
