Michigan State Police investigate 14 incidents of gunshot damage to electric equipment over past year

Electric Co-op offers nearly $10K reward

There is a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for damaging electric equipment several times over the past year.

Michigan State Police said they are investigating fourteen different incidents of gunshot damage to transformers, regulators, and other electric system equipment over the past year. The vandalism has resulted in more than $250,000 in damages.

The Electric Co-op is offering a reward of $9,999 to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
