DETROIT – The reshaped jury in the Samantha Woll murder trial is starting from scratch.
After a month’s worth of testimony and three days of deliberations, the trial took another turn Tuesday, July 15.
Woll was stabbed to death at her Lafayette Park condo last October. Jackson-Bolanos was arrested a month later.
He’s now on trial for first-degree murder, home invasion and lying to a peace officer. The trial included dozens of witnesses and has been going on for a month now. Closing statements were delivered Tuesday, July 9.
The jury had to restart deliberations in the case against Jackson-Bolanos after being deadlocked for several days. The fourth day of deliberations was different, as Juror No. 3 was excused due to a pre-planned vacation and was replaced by an alternate juror.
