Hyundai recalls 67K vehicles over fuel pump, software issues leading to rollaway risk

Affected owners should be notified by Sept. 9 for free fixes

Hyundai is recalling about 67,000 vehicles for two separate reasons.

The first includes 54,000 recent Genesis, Elantra, Kona, and Veloster models.

Officials say these recalled vehicles have faulty fuel pumps.

The second is over 12,000 2024 Santa Fe’s.

Officials say the vehicles were recalled due to a software issue that could cause them to roll away while parked.

Hyundai says affected owners should be notified by Sept. 9 for free fixes.
