Motorcyclist killed when oncoming SUV turns in front of it in Ann Arbor

Speed believed to be factor

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A crash killed a 56-year-old man from Milan in Ann Arbor.

The crash happened at about 2:45 p.m. Friday, July 26. According to authorities, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Stadium Avenue when he crashed into a northbound SUV that was taking a left onto Winewood Avenue.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver of the SUV was no injured.

Police believe speed was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ann Arbor Police Department at 734-794-6939.
