Detroit police searching for 1-year-old boy after parents fail to surrender him to CPS

DETROIT – Police are looking for a 1-year-old boy who was supposed to be surrendered to Child Protective Services.

Detroit police said the parents of Malachi Leone Taylor were under a court order to surrender the child to CPS and failed to do so.

The boy was last seen on Thursday, July 25, and was reported missing on Saturday, July 27. He is missing from the 3600 block of Guilford Street in Detroit.

He is described as being 2′10′' tall, weighs 30 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.
