MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 33-year-old man from Warren has been found guilty of distributing child pornography after he pressured his girlfriend into a sex act with a child and shared a video of the incident.
According to authorities, James Burbridge Jr. forced his then-girlfriend, 18-year-old Damya Lovely, to conduct a sexual act on a child and send a video of it to him. The incident took place on April 1, 2023.

Burbridge was found guilty of aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to do a crime. He is expected to be sentenced Sept. 4.
Lovely, also a resident of Warren, pled guilty to child sexually abusive activity, using a computer to commit a crime and first-degree criminal sexual conduct. She will be sentenced Aug. 14. She faces the possibility of life behind bars.
