Warren man killed in Chesterfield Township motorcycle crash

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Warren man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Chesterfield Township.

The crash happened at 8:10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024, at the intersection of 21 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue.

Police said a 44-year-old man from Warren was driving a motorcycle when it collided with another vehicle. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Warren man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

A 20-year-old woman from New Baltimore was driving the other vehicle. She was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chesterfield police detective Bonk at 586-949-3460.
