DETROIT – The Belle Isle Art Fair returns with its biggest showing yet.
The 10th annual fair kicked off Saturday and runs through Sunday.
The art fair features more than 120 artists.
Many of the artists are local with one of them from as far away as Kenya.
Director of Belle Isle Art Fair Mark Loeb says the show captures the spirit of Belle Isle.
“What we say about this (fair) is the goal is to help you take home the peace and serenity of Belle Isle, so you have it there in your home the rest of the year,” Loeb said. “We look for pieces that really inspire that kind of peaceful life.”
The fair also features food, drinks, live music and henna tattoos.
The Belle Isle Art Fair will run Sunday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
