TROY, Mich. – A home invasion in Troy resulted in the arrest of five people believed to be involved in an international crime ring.

Police said they received a 911 call at about 1 p.m., Aug. 1, from a homeowner who claimed an unknown person was inside their home on Millay Drive. The homeowner was not home but was watching the person inside their home with a camera that the suspect eventually pointed toward a wall.

Police said they saw another suspect who appeared to have filmed the foot chase before walking to a restaurant. Police took Michel Leandro Alba Rincon into custody at the restaurant.

A third suspect was seen getting into a Honda Odyssey with a Virginia license plate. Police said they initiated a traffic stop on the Honda and all three occupants -- Omar Giovvany Rodriguez-Aponte, Geovanny Enreque Castellanos-Forero and Alberto Franco-Jimenez -- were taken into custody.

All five men have been charged with second-degree home invasion and given $1,000,000 bond each. Franco-Jimenez was also charged with driving with a suspended license.
