Police seek help identifying 3 armed men involved in home invasion on Detroit’s west side

Dog was treated for injuries after it was shot by home invaders

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking assistance from the community regarding three men who were involved in a home invasion on Detroit’s west side.

The incident occurred on Saturday (Aug. 3) at 11:30 a.m. in the 20200 block of Glastonbury Road.

Officials say the three men backed into the driveway of the residence in a stolen black Chevy Silverado with Michigan license plate #ELP-4398 and broke into the home.

Police say the three men shot the homeowners’ dog and stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, a Rolex watch, and multiple purses from the home before fleeing the scene.

Officials say the dog was treated for injuries.
