PORT HURON, Mich. – Two drug investigations in St. Clair County resulted in five people being arrested within two days in Port Huron.
The first arrests took place on Aug. 6 at a residence located near the intersection of Seventh and Pine streets. According to authorities, a search warrant led to the discovery of “a dealer’s quantity of crystal methamphetamine,” and other paraphernalia. Two people were taken into custody.

Matthew Fields, 36, was charged with delivery of methamphetamine, dangerous drug, keeping a house of ill fame and a parole violation. He was given a $50,000 bond.
Kaylee Rataj, 21, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and contempt of court warrant. Her bond was set at $10,000.
The next arrests happened on Aug. 8 following a traffic stop on I-94. According to authorities, law enforcement had received a tip that the vehicle was traveling from Detroit to Port Huron with drugs. During the traffic stop, authorities reportedly found 14 grams of methamphetamine and arrested the three occupants.
Victoria Urie, 41, was charged with delivery of methamphetamine and destruction of evidence. Her bond was set at $25,000.
Jessica Debruyn, 37, was charged with delivery of methamphetamine and was given a $5,000 bond.
Jason Swinson, 70, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and is being held on a $5,000 bond.
