DETROIT – Michigan has cracked the top 10 most dangerous states for recreational boating, according to a new study.

The study was done by Florida personal injury lawyers Anidjar & Levine, who went over data from the United States Coast Guard to figure out which state has the highest proportion of deadly boating incidents. The study looks at the number of boating accidents in each state last year and the number of fatal accidents to calculate the percentage of accidents that resulted in death.
