Lenawee County man arrested for 2023 crash that killed 4

MACON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 55-year-old man from Adrian is facing multiple felonies in connection with a 2023 crash that killed four people.

The crash happened Sept. 4, 2023 near the intersection of Britton Highway and Milwaukee Road in Macon Township. The two-vehicle crash killed all four occupants of a Ford F-150. Police said the at-fault driver was the only occupant of a Ford F-250. He was hospitalized with serious injuries.

According to authorities, the at-fault driver -- identified by police as a 55-year-old man from Adrian -- was arrested Thursday, Aug. 15, and charged with four counts of reckless driving causing death.

If convicted, he faces up to 60 years behind bars. He’s currently lodged at the Lenawee County Jail and awaiting arraignment.
