Joel Anthony Martinez, 48 of Roseville was charged in connection with a bar fight that severely injured a man in Center Line.
Allegedly, on Saturday, Aug. 17, Martinez was bothering patrons of Te Roma Bar in Center Line when he reportedly punched a 50-year-old man, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete.

Officials say the victim remains in the hospital in the intensive care unit.
Martinez, who was said to have punched a second man, was charged with aggravated assault, a one-year misdemeanor, assault-and-battery, a 93-day misdemeanor, and disturbing the peace, a 90-day misdemeanor.
The 48-year-old was charged in 37th Centerline District Court, where bond was set at $5,000 cash/surety.
If released, Martinez is to have no contact with the victim, witnesses, or Te Roma Bar and is to wear an alcohol tether.
