CHELSEA, Mich. – The city of Chelsea was under a boil water advisory after a water main break on Wednesday Aug. 21.
On Aug. 23, officials said the first test sample came back clear. The second test results came back negative on Aug. 24 and the boil water advisory was lifted.

City officials issued the advisory around 4:30 p.m. Aug. 21 after the city lost water pressure around 3 p.m.
It was located near the Lanewood neighborhood where crews worked quickly to restore the water pressure.
