Officials say public is not in danger

A 39-year-old man has been found dead near a large ground-level fish tank inside of his home in Warren.

Officials said the man was found on Tuesday (Aug. 20) at 7:30 p.m. in the 11000 block of Hanover Drive.

Officers and fire department personnel arrived and confirmed that the 39-year-old resident of the house was found deceased inside the residence.

The circumstances of the death are suspicious, with detectives called in to investigate the scene.

As of this point, the public is not in danger. The investigation is open and active.

The Macomb County medical examiner’s office performed an autopsy Wednesday morning, and results are pending.
