ROMULUS, Mich. – The family-owned and operated Mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain announced the details to its grand opening for its first Detroit-area store.
The store located at 33380 Wick Rd. in Romulus will officially open its doors Aug. 27.

The store will open to the public at 8 a.m. with a grand opening celebration scheduled between 9 and 11 a.m.
At the celebration, Sheetz is set to provide $5,000 donations to the Forgotten Harvest and Special Olympics of Michigan.
The company says it’s bringing a completely new and unique experience that includes indoor and outdoor dining options, drive-thrus and robust grocery options.
The company has no plans in slowing down when it comes to expanding in Metro Detroit. The following areas on their list are:

- 20623 Eureka Road, Taylor, MI 48180
- 45011 Garfield Road, Macomb, MI 48044
- 31925 Van Dyke Avenue, Warren, MI 48093
- 23 Mile east of I-94 in Chesterfield
