Help Me Hank is warning fans about a new scam

DETROIT – When I first heard about this story I had a pit in my stomach. The man I was talking with is a dedicated Lions season ticket holder. He has had tickets and has been cheering for this team for 34 long years.

He is so excited for the season ahead -- we all are, right!?! He recently logged into his account and his tickets were gone. That’s right: gone. He paid for them. He was making plans for the big Lions vs. Rams game.

His tickets were hacked, stolen and now being sold by the scammer. How did this happen? Police are now involved. The concern: this is happening every day and you may not find out until it’s too late.

That’s why today I’m in touch with the police, the ticket sellers, the Lions- you name it. This season is way too critical and we can’t have a new, elaborate scam ruining the fun for the most dedicated fans among us.

I will see you live today from Ford Field for this important Help Me Hank scam alert!
