An Ohio dad admitted to Sandusky police that he left his three kids alone at Cedar Point so he could ride roller coasters. And it may have happened more than once.

Sandusky police were called to the amusement park Friday, August 16 after a woman found a small child playing near the Magnum XL-200 roller coaster. On their way to the Corkscrew, police said the woman found another small child left alone in a wagon. She tells the police she waited 20 minutes before the dad showed up.

During questioning, Anthony Gallina told police he left his 8-year-old daughter to watch the 2-year-old and 4-year-old while he rode a roller coaster. It was noted that while he was waiting in line, the ride was shut down for at least 20 minutes.

Further questioning determined that the two kids had been left alone “multiple different times throughout the day.”

He was released from custody. Police said he would be charged with endangering children.
