A Macomb County restaurant says it’s time to move on, after four years in business.

Bobcat Bonnie’s of Partridge Creek, in Clinton Township, closed its doors on Sunday, four years after opening. The restaurant originally opened in February of 2020, just before the pandemic in Michigan.

“Covid gave us a ton of challenges- but forced us to grow - we had some amazing years pivoting and trying new ways to be of service up in Macomb (carryout, drive up to go’s, igloos, expanded patios, 30 plus umbrellas , doggie dinners, etc) and we are grateful for that challenge. Who knew what would happen opening a restaurant mid February of 2020,” the team wrote in a message posted to Facebook.

“We are so grateful for the community- Macomb is such an amazing area- we got so much love from the folks at the township, and the greater area. I could spend hours singing the communities praises - and we would LOVE to be back here sooner than later (just not on Hall Rd),” they wrote.

Bobcat Bonnie’s remains open at their other locations, in Detroit’s Corktown, Ferndale, Wyandotte, Ypsilanti, Grand Rapids, and Lansing.
