Quiyemabi Summerlin, 45, of Detroit, who preyed on drug-addicted women while also luring them into his basement with false promises, has been sentenced to 17.5 years in prison, according to prosecutors.

Officials said Summerlin supplied women with heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine and forced them to engage in endless commercial sex acts.

Summerlin used violence to ensure his victims’ compliance, and he also raped several of his victims.

The 45-year-old man was sentenced to 17.5 years for sex trafficking using force and coercion, maintaining drug premises, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Summerlin pleaded guilty to trafficking three victims. During the investigation, the FBI identified 25 women who stayed in Summerlin’s home for a while, performing commercial sex acts at his direction.
