DETROIT – A 6-year-old is expected to be OK after being shot in Detroit early Thursday morning.
It happened at about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Bassett and Pleasant streets. According to authorities, the house was hit multiple times in a drive-by shooting and a 6-year-old boy inside was struck in the leg.
The bullet reportedly went through a window, in one side of the boy’s kneed and out the other.
The boy was rushed to a hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
