DETROIT – Just days after storms knocked out power for 200,000 DTE customers in Metro Detroit, more severe weather is threatening the area.
Roughly 10,000 people in Metro Detroit remain without power.
According to the National Weather Service, all of Metro Detroit could see the possibility of hail, wind up to 70 miles per hour and potential tornadoes.

Wayne County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Oakland County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Macomb County
- A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 8:15 p.m.
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Washtenaw County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Livingston County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Monroe County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Lenawee County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Lapeer County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Sanilac County
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
St. Clair County
- A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 9 p.m.
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
Genesee County
- A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Genesee County until 7 p.m.
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
