Teacher faces multiple sexual contact charges with student on school property in Monroe County

Christopher Wilhem, 38, of Toledo, was charged in the First District Court of Monroe on four counts of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree, and one count of the use of a computer in the commission of a crime.

Wilhelm is a former teacher and football coach from Bedford High School, and the charges stem from a reported sexual relationship he had with a student in 2022.

The student reported that Wilhelm had sexual contact with her multiple times on school property, at a local park, at his residence, and at a hotel in Toledo, Ohio.

Officials say the Toledo police are investigating the incidents of sexual contact in Toledo.
