Police search for suspected shooter

DETROIT – A 40-year-old man was shot during an argument in Detroit’s Greektown neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 2:20 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, in the area of Saint Antoine and Monroe streets.

Officials said a 40-year-old man got into an argument with another person, and that person fired shots.

The 40-year-old man was treated at a nearby hospital and released.

Police are searching for the man in the picture above. He was last seen wearing a black, white, and green varsity jacket, a white T-shirt, black pants, and black and white gym shoes.
