2 convicted of attempted murder in Warren dispensary armed robbery

WARREN, Mich. – A Macomb County jury has found two men guilty in a 2023 shooting and armed robbery of a Warren dispensary.

According to authorities, 64-year-old Lavall Perkins was with an unidentified suspect, who fired a shot through the dispensary’s glass door, striking a security guard. The suspect reportedly unlocked the door and shot at the victim again as he ran away.

Perkins and the suspect then entered the store, stole its safe and left in a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 48-year-old Michael Graham.

Authorities said Graham had worked at the dispensary at the time. They were both arrested and charged just days after the robbery.

On Friday, Aug. 30, Perkins and Graham were found guilty of assault with intent to murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and armed robbery.

They are expected to be sentenced Oct. 16. They both face the possibility of life in prison.
