Groom accused of killing groomsman with SUV after argument at Flint wedding

A husband and wife have been arrested in the death of a groomsman at their wedding.

According to authorities, Terry Lewis Taylor Jr. was intentionally struck by a speeding SUV after getting into an argument at a Flint wedding on Aug. 3. Police said he was severely injured and later died at a hospital.

Police identified the SUV driver as the groom, 22-year-old James Shirah. He was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder. Shirah was denied bond.

The bride, 21-year-old Savahna Collier, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to a felony. Her bond was set at $4,000.
