Michigan Lottery: Winning $1M Powerball ticket sold in Metro Detroit

One day after a Michigan Lottery player won $1 million on the Mega Millions, another won in the Powerball.

A winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold Wednesday at the Shell gas station on Cherry Hill and Venoy Road in Westland.

The winning numbers from the Sept. 4 drawing were 7, 10, 21, 33 and 59. The Powerball was 20. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.

Powerball plays may be purchased for $2 each at Lottery retailers across the state and online at MichiganLottery.com.

Powerball drawings take place at 10:59 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
