Green Day was about 15 minutes into their set at Comerica Park when they were rushed off stage.

A “show paused” message was shared on video screens on the stage. After about seven minutes, the band returned and resumed the show.

New polling shows where Michigan voters stand on minimum wage ruling, tipping habits

A new WDIV/Detroit News survey asked voters to weigh in on a Michigan Supreme Court ruling that led to changes to the state’s minimum wage requirements.

The WDIV/Detroit News survey was conducted between Aug. 26 and Aug. 29, 2024. It found that a majority of Michigan voters support the Supreme Court’s ruling that an adopt-and-amend strategy was unconstitutional.

Teen charged with killing 4 at Georgia high school had been focus of earlier tips about threats

More than a year ago, tips about online posts threatening a school shooting led Georgia police to interview a 13-year-old boy, but investigators didn’t have enough evidence for an arrest. On Wednesday, that boy opened fire at his high school outside Atlanta and killed four people and wounded nine, officials said.

The teen has been charged as an adult in the deaths of Apalachee High School students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, and instructors Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimie, 53, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey said at a news conference.
