DETROIT – Green Day was rushed off stage during a concert in Detroit.

Green Day was about 15 minutes into their set at Comerica Park when they were rushed off stage.

A “show paused” message was shared on video screens on the stage. After about seven minutes, the band returned and resumed the show.

Detroit police said someone was flying a drone over Comerica Park and the band was removed from the stage due to security concerns.

The person who flew the drone was located outside of Comerica Park and detained while police investigate.

Detroit! Sorry for the delay in the show tonight, Stadium security had us clear the stage while they dealt with a potential safety issue. DPD quickly resolved the situation, and we were able to continue. Thanks for understanding.💚
