Police want help identifying man involved in downtown Detroit armed robbery

44-year-old victim was robbed of his money, keys, and cellphone

DETROIT – Police want help identifying a man who was involved in an armed robbery in downtown Detroit.

The incident occurred on Friday (Aug. 2) at 11:30 p.m. when a 44-year-old man was walking with a woman in the area of 1 Energy Plaza.

Officials say the 44-year-old was approached by two men who produced a gun and struck the victim while the other man robbed him of his money, keys, and cellphone before fleeing the scene.
