5 arrested running from Warren police in stolen car, trying to steal another

WARREN, Mich. – Five suspects were arrested for allegedly running from police in a stolen car after attempting to steal another.

The incident unfolded just before midnight on Sept. 10. Michigan State Police was assisting the Warren Police Department when a suspect accused of attempting to steal a car ran off in a stolen Chrysler 300.

In the helicopter footage provided by Michigan State Police, the stolen car can be seen speeding through various roads.

At one point in the police chase, the five suspects left the stolen car, ran away and attempted to hide in the area of Puritan Avenue and Baylis Street in Wayne County.

All five suspects were eventually found and arrested by police.

According to Michigan State Police, the suspects had vehicle key fobs and a Pro Pad.
