Adopt-A-Highways (AAH) is a program created by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) to keep our highway roadsides clear of debris and trash.
Created in 1990, the volunteer driven project consists of more the 2,900 cleaning groups. The groups are spread out all over the state of Michigan, cleaning more than 6,000 miles of highway and collecting at least 60,000 bags of trash.
