MIDTOWN, Mich. – TEDx returns to Midtown to celebrate 16 years of sharing ideas with some of the best and brightest speakers, including none other than Rhonda Walker.
The event was held on Wednesday (Sept. 18) and the theme to Walker’s speech was “From Doubt to Determination: The Journey of Self Belief.”
Walker’s powerful message resonated with the crowd and reminded us all of the strength within us to overcome challenges and set backs and believe in our ability to realize our dreams.
Her speech concluded with launching the new Rhonda Walker Foundation (RWF) Born in Detroit T-shirts into the crowd.
All sales of the shirts benefit the RWF empowerment programs for inner city teen girls in metro Detroit.
