Warren father sentenced for severely injuring 5-week-old daughter multiple times

Abuse incidents happened in 2021

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A Warren man was sentenced Wednesday for injuring his 5-week-old daughter in 2021.

Matthew Siladke, 26, was convicted in June 2024 of Child Abuse in the First Degree, a life felony, after a six-week jury trial.

Siladke, on multiple dates in July 2021, injured his 5-week-old daughter, causing her to have a biparietal skull fracture, over 20 rib fractures, a displaced femur fracture, neck injuries and brain injuries.

“This sentence reflects the gravity of the harm inflicted on his child and ensures that justice is served. We hope this verdict sends a clear message that such acts of brutality will not be tolerated in our community,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.

Siladke was sentenced on Sept. 18 to 84 to 300 months in prison.
